Meet Our Founder
The heart behind BURST Volleyball
Chelsea Jacobson is the Founder of BURST Volleyball, Inc., a nonprofit she created as a high school student and competitive volleyball player. Chelsea has played volleyball for more than seven years, competing at both the club and high school level.
After experiencing firsthand how volleyball builds confidence, leadership, teamwork, and resilience, Chelsea wanted to make those same opportunities accessible to girls who may not otherwise have the chance to play.
"Through BURST, I get to combine my passion for volleyball with my commitment to giving back — creating programs that help young girls learn the game, build meaningful life skills, and discover what they're capable of, both on and off the court."
